Tony Mate is a senior piping designer with over 30 years of industrial engineering experience and specializations in piping design and piping stress analyses. Tony oversees the piping design team, and is responsible for sizing process pipes and pumps, writing specifications for RFPs, and comparing tenders. He has also worked on numerous project sites as a field engineer/supervisor, where he has assisted contractors with technical issues and contract interpretation.
Tony has brought his engineering and project management expertise to major mining, pulp and paper, engineered wood, and power generation projects in Canada, the US, and Mexico. Notably, he provided engineering and project engineer services for the $800 million Allandale and Grant Clarendon OSB Mills in South Carolina, US.
